The WASH project improved personal and menstrual hygiene practices among refugees in Nahr El Bared, Beddawi, Burj El Barajneh, and Ein El Hilweh, while raising awareness on COVID-19 and cholera prevention measures.
Target
Target: Over 7,000 men and women in each governorate (Akkar, Tripoli, Mt Lebanon, South)
Location: Nahr El Bared, Beddawi, Burj El Barajneh, and Ein El Hilweh.
Outcomes
- 65 youths were provided with cash for work opportunities.
- 95% of school children demonstrated an improvement in hygiene practices.
